Bacon Wrapped Honey Mustard Bites
Bacon Wrapped Honey Mustard Bites
Heeeeeere we go again!
Can you tell we’ve been eating meals of only appetizers?? Sometimes I like that. Fun little bites of different things to put together a meal. We even sat on the floor in the living room and had a sort of “picnic.” Nerd alert? You have no idea.
Yesterday kicked off the first of my three recipes on 3 ingredient appetizers. We started off with Feta Stuffed Watermelon– a summery kind of delicious. Today’s feature? Bacon Wrapped Honey Mustard Bites. Ready??? Let’s do this.

I used my fancy Pampered Chef kitchen shears to cut chicken breast into cubes. I threw them in a bowl and added about 1-ish tablespoons of light honey mustard dressing. Then I cut some turkey bacon strips in half and wrapped them around the chicken….securing with a toothpick.
Bam. Three ingredients:Â chicken, light honey mustard, turkey bacon.
This is getting fun. I put the oven to 425 and put those little nuggets on a cooking stone (stone not required, but my preference). Baked for about 10 minutes, pulled them out and added another small dollop of light dressing and put back in another 5ish minutes. Until the turkey bacon looked done. I’m not allowed to say the c…..r….i…s……. word. Mr W hates it.Â
And there you have it! A delicious and delectable protein focused appetizer.Â
Bonus fourth ingredient: add a water chestnut to each bite. I didn’t do this but I imagine it’s awesome!
