Vanilla Spice Protein Shake

This is my all time favorite “classic” shake. It’s a must have for you Bariatric Surgery go-to shakes!

I say “classic” shake because I tend to try and add a new flavor to my shakes. A splash of extract or a different spice like Pumpkin Pie…but on occasion…a good “classic” is just what you need.

It still has a little bit of a spin, so my husband calls it a “Vanilla Spice Shake” because he says it has something holiday about it…but to me it’s super close to a vanilla ice cream shake!

Warning: it will alarm you when you see that it calls for cottage cheese. Don’t be scared. This wonderful ingredient is what makes the shake so creamy!!! If you’re totally weirded out/disgusted by it…try swapping it out for plain Greek yogurt. It may leave a little bit more tang with the yogurt but will give you the creamy texture.
