Protein Vanilla Latte
Protein Vanilla Latte
This is a great alterantaive to a protein shake and to a higher carb latte drink! Just a few ingredients heated on the stovetop and you’ll soon be enjoying a warm treat high in protein and low in sugar.
The most important part of this recipe is to NOT overheat it because of the protein powder. If you get above about 140F, the protein powder will often get clumpy and gritty. Head slowly on a medium to low setting on the stovetop, stirring constantly and removing from heat when it seems heated through.
I used a Starbucks® Via Packet but instant coffee granules will also work. You can also use already brewed coffee. Nutrition info at the bottom!
