Quick and easy Bariatric friendly recipe
Shrimp is an AWESOME ingredient to keep on hand after bariatric surgery. Recipes like this Garlic and Herb Shrimp are fast, easy, and protein-packed!
Unless of course you are allergic or don’t like shrimp. If you’re here that probably isn’t you.
For the recipe, I used a marinade packet. This runs the risk of your grocery store not having the one I used but I would venture to guess you can find a close alternative.
I used a packet from Weber called “Just Add Juice.” They have several other flavors but this Garlic and Herb was spot on for shrimp. I have also seen the Citrus Herb packet at Walmart and imagine that’s another great option.
I didn’t add the lemon for this recipe. Just the seasoning tossed with the shrimp. That gave it a powerful flavor but I cooled off with the Greek Yogurt for dipping sauce.
If you can’t find this exact packet, keep looking for other brands that are using a variation of garlic and herbs.
