Basil Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (one large lemon)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp sweetener of choice

Instructions

  • Place basil leaves in the bottom of a short drinking glass and muddle it slightly by crushing the leaves.
  • Combine lemon juice and water and pour over basil leaves. Add sweetener to taste.
  • Put in the fridge and let steep an hour or more. Serve over ice.
